This program will include:

  • 30-day guided Block Therapy sequence including both a 30 minute beginner class or a 30 minute advanced class (the advanced requires both the Block Buddy and Block Baby).
  • Alignment Training
  • Daily Prompts to do the Pronator Corrector series so to stay connected to your foundation
  • Weekly Live calls with Deanna to address any questions or concerns (except for the week of August 7th)
  • Private Group access to Deanna for those enrolled in the membership
  • It is advised that you have completed the first 6 classes of the Starter Program before beginning the 30 Day Upper Body Program
  • An opportunity to be involved in the challenge and win prizes (not required to access program)

Align Your Ribcage

As you know, diaphragmatic breathing is one of the 3 pillars of Block Therapy. In order to access this muscle fully, adhesions that have impacted the ribcage need to be melted. When space is put back between the ribs and the diaphragm strengthens, everything up the chain is directly affected.

The ribcage is the foundation for the shoulders, arms and hands, as well as the head and neck. In this 30-Day Upper Body Program, we first address the ribcage to be most efficient. You need to have a solid foundation to build from and when you do, change is fast. The combination of blocking and alignment training will set you up for success, to get the most out of your time spent.

Open the Shoulders and Align Your Arms and Hands

The shoulder is a ball and socket joint, which provides the greatest range of motion when aligned. When there is a collapsing into the joint space, range of motion is affected, and pain and inflammation can occur. This creates compensations with movement, which also impact the alignment of the arms and hands. The result is a holding pattern that can add tremendous stress to the neck, affecting blood and oxygen flow into the head.

When you spend the time to address the shoulders, arms and hands, there is a beautiful release that occurs to the head and neck, as well as the ribcage. The arms are like tentpoles so when when they are out of alignment, they pull everything they are connected to in a negative pattern. Notice the changes you experience to your whole body as you develop new fascia patterns.
