"I want to welcome you to explore the amazing benefits of Block Therapy and how this practice will unwind the tension in your tissue creating alignment in your spine and extremities."
Many people believe scoliosis is an issue with the spine, but in reality, it is an issue with the fascia system.
The fascia is the connective tissue holding every single cell in your body together. Scar tissue from trauma or compression from incorrect posture is dense and sticky and will seal to bone with a 2000 pound per square inch force. This is what will torque and manipulate the body to twist out of alignment. As much as the spine is considered to be the issue with scoliosis, it is in fact the alignment of the entire body that needs to be addressed.
Peoples’ struggle with scoliosis is unique and individual. Everyone grips and torques in their own way. This is why I have designed Scoliosis Gone to be flexible and interactive. All the material is accessed through the member site, and I give you day by day guidance based on your time limitations and ability.
Christopher was diagnosed with severe rotatory scoliosis and was told he wouldn't live past the age of 21. With practicing Fluid Isometrics and Block Therapy along Deanna Hansen's side, he is now able to live a much simpler, pain free and confident life.

Block Therapy targets the fascia system and uses a tool called the Block Buddy.
The fascia is the connective tissue that holds the entire body together, and connects every one of our 100 trillion cells. In order to make lasting change to our health and appearance, we need to understand this system and give it what it needs to thrive.
There are 3 things that need to happen in order to create change.
With the Block Therapy system, we will teach you to:
1. CREATE SPACE
When we wind down over time, what is lost is the space in the tissue. Compression creates blocks to blood and oxygen flow which results in cells being starved from life - resulting in pain, aging and disease. With Scoliosis, compression is extreme and for many, the effects are debilitating. Block Therapy is successful with treating this condition, because it addresses the cause of scoliosis - fascia compression. The release allows the spine to migrate back to proper alignment.
2. INFLATE SPACE
Instruction of proper diaphragmatic breathing is the driver of this process as it turns on the internal furnace, optimizing the melting effect. The adhesions in the fascia are heated and melted, and the space created is inflated with oxygen. This releases compression to assist the body to migrate back to proper cellular/spinal alignment.
3. MAINTAIN SPACE
Understanding how to use your body properly and strengthen correct foundation is crucial to maintain cellular alignment and prevent old holding patterns from reoccurring. For people with scoliosis, strengthening proper foundation prevents the spine from torquing out of alignment.
Block Buddy & Block Baby
A hand-crafted untreated cedar wooden block uniquely designed to fit the contours of the body. Wood is used because it shares a similar density to bone. The size, proportion and rounded corners are meticulously designed to accommodate most body types.
This is simply a smaller version of the Block Buddy™. The Block Baby is designed to fit into smaller spaces where the Block Buddy™ feels overwhelming. Due to the incredible compression of your fascia, there are some very tight spaces we need to reach. Having both sizes is necessary for you.

About Deanna Hansen
Deanna Hansen is a Certified Athletic Therapist and founder of Fluid Isometrics™ and Block Therapy™, a bodywork practice that is meditation, exercise and therapy all in one. Deanna began her practice as an Athletic Therapist in 1995, always focusing on deep tissue work. She built up a thriving practice, as her strong hands could work out the deep knots in tissue. Unfortunately, as successful as her business was, Deanna’s physical health and mental wellbeing were eluding her.
In 2000, Deanna experienced a major breakthrough. Her large, heavy body stored much pain and she felt weighed down and depressed. While experiencing the worst of a series of anxiety attacks, Deanna intuitively pushed her hand into her abdomen and, at that moment, began a path of self-discovery. In a short period of time, Deanna’s body began to change. The weight was dropping, the chronic pain and issues were improving and, most importantly, the depression and anxiety disappeared. She immediately began applying this to her existing patients and the results were immediate and outstanding.
Here is Deanna's Story - How Block Therapy Began
