The fascia is the connective tissue that holds the entire body together, and connects every one of our 100 trillion cells. In order to make lasting change to our health and appearance, we need to understand this system and give it what it needs to thrive.
When we wind down over time, what is lost is the space in the tissue. Compression creates blocks to blood and oxygen flow which results in cells being starved from life - resulting in pain, aging and disease. With Scoliosis, compression is extreme and for many, the effects are debilitating. Block Therapy is successful with treating this condition, because it addresses the cause of scoliosis - fascia compression. The release allows the spine to migrate back to proper alignment.
Instruction of proper diaphragmatic breathing is the driver of this process as it turns on the internal furnace, optimizing the melting effect. The adhesions in the fascia are heated and melted, and the space created is inflated with oxygen. This releases compression to assist the body to migrate back to proper cellular/spinal alignment.

Because Scoliosis requires an individual treatment protocol, Deanna has designed this process to address and support those who want a real solution and are ready for alignment.
Doug has been struggling with rotatory scoliosis for over 30 years and has tried nearly every non-surgical modality to help. Once introduced to Fluid Isometrics and Block Therapy, here are his results within an 8 day period.
A hand-crafted untreated cedar wooden block uniquely designed to fit the contours of the body. Wood is used because it shares a similar density to bone. The size, proportion and rounded corners are meticulously designed to accommodate most body types.
This is simply a smaller version of the Block Buddy™. The Block Baby is designed to fit into smaller spaces where the Block Buddy™ feels overwhelming. Due to the incredible compression of your fascia, there are some very tight spaces we need to reach. Having both sizes is necessary for you.

Every 2 weeks you will receive a personalized assessment from Deanna.
Through photos and personal interaction, Deanna will assess your body and guide you to the most efficient outcome. You will be given a direct approach to release the holding patterns of fascia to re-align your cellular structure.
When beginning your Block Therapy journey, it is important to learn how to use your Block Buddy safely.
You will also learn the 3 components that make up Block Therapy.
1. Creating space with the Block Buddy
2. Inflating space with the breath
3. Maintaining space with proper postural foundations
