The woman’s body is a marvel, yet the way it is treated leaves most of us with pain, issues and frustration. From painful periods, to issues with fertility, to surgeries leaving us scared and traumatized, to symptoms from menopause, to a lack of understanding and appreciation what we are capable of; most women are plagued at some point with a lack of control and understanding within themselves.
One of the beautiful parts about being a woman is our connection to life – we literally grow life inside ourselves. Yet most of us feel unworthy, sometimes used and abused and often ashamed. I have been there. But I am here to share with you an approach that is profound, kind, simple, efficient . . . and you can even do it in bed.
The most important thing to understand is that scar tissue is the root of all suffering. Whether from injury, surgery or unconscious posture, adhesions block blood and oxygen flow, cause compression and ballooning and make the area toxic and inflamed. This includes the glands that secrete hormones, as they are simply specialized cells with a specific function. This leaves you in a state of pain, aging and disease, causing feelings of frustration, fear and anxiety.
The good news is that scar tissue and adhesions can be melted away. Even better is that it isn’t through force, but persuasion and kindness.

1. Cause Sites vs Pain Sites
Fascia connects every cell in the body. In order for cells to be properly aligned, posture and diaphragmatic breathing have to be observed and practiced. Without this, cells begin to migrate away from proper alignment.
As fascia is here to protect you, one of its functions is to keep you upright. As most aren’t conscious of posture or breath, compression occurs from tissue collapsing into the space inside the body. The result is a body off balance. Fascia will grip with a 2000 pound per square inch force to attempt stability, but unfortunately, it also blocks blood and oxygen flow from cells.
It is these grips that need to be addressed to free the body and create balance and symmetry. No matter what you are experiencing, understanding the interconnectedness of the body is crucial to unlock pain and suffering and melt scar tissue.
2. Tissue Temperature
The fascia requires a certain temperature for optimal flow of oxygen and nutrients to cells, as well as the removal of waste and toxins from cells. The diaphragm is like the body’s furnace; the upper chest muscles are like a space heater. In order for there to be flow to every cell, the furnace needs to be turned on at all times.
When fascia begins to cool, like ice compared to water it loses its flow and becomes dense and heavy. Adhesions develop between the layers and act as barriers to flow, resulting in cells that lack nutrition – this is a large reason for issues with pain, aging and disease.

3. Cellular Integration
Cellular migration occurs when cells move away from their rightful place under the influence of gravity, incorrect posture and unconscious breathing over time. The further the cell is from its home, the more pain it stores, as it is starved and dirty.
This has huge implications to breast health, and women’s issues in general. A prolapsed uterus, cysts, painful periods, endometriosis . . . when cells are away form home, they suffer, and so do we.

4. Posture
