Block Therapy – The Practice | The Fascia Masters, Season 3 – Episode 2

We have had many new listeners recently who are all asking the same question - "what exactly is Block Therapy?" Let's dive into it!

Block Therapy is a simple yet powerful practice that involves lying on specially designed blocks while practicing proper diaphragmatic breathing. The combination of pressure and breath work facilitates the release of adhesions in the fascia, restoring balance between collagen and elastin.

The development of Block Therapy was an intuitive process, with Deanna experimenting with different shapes and sizes to mimic the effects of his hands. The result is two variations: the Block Buddy and the Block Baby, each serving different purposes and offering unique benefits.

What sets Block Therapy apart is its simplicity and accessibility. With just two rules – proper breathing and spending a minimum of three minutes in a position – anyone can practice Block Therapy regardless of age, gender, or condition. The technique is gentle yet effective, allowing individuals to experience profound changes in their bodies and minds.

Through Block Therapy, individuals can tap into the body's innate ability to heal and restore balance. By addressing imbalances in the fascia, Block Therapy promotes optimal flow of nutrients and waste in the body, alleviating pain and promoting overall well-being.

The journey of Block Therapy is a testament to the power of intuition and simplicity in healing. Deanna and Quinn's dedication to sharing this transformative practice with the world highlights the profound impact it can have on people's lives.
