New Year Message for 2020

Reflecting back on this journey, I feel blessed to be a part of a community that is so strong and supportive. This process began for me at the turn of the century, and 20 years later, we have over 120 teachers and tens of thousands of people receiving the benefits of this practice.

This is because of you. Block Therapy has spread through word of mouth, and it was slow going in the beginning as many couldn’t wrap their heads around how lying on a piece of wood could give you benefit. But so many of you got your spouse, sibling, friend, child or parent on the block, and that is how we have created this movement, and now people all over the world are joining in on the fun.

The last 5 years have been dedicated to building a site that could store all the information we needed, and to make it as user friendly as possible. For me, one who in past pushed technology away, this was a scary endeavor — I felt like I was blindfolded and walking through a jungle. But the team we have; Quinn, Penka and Stephanie, made this safe for me, and I can’t thank them enough for their dedication, belief, talents and hard work.

We are stepping into a new phase now. It’s time to connect in a different capacity. This new year will be all about creating better support systems through our communications so we can reach more and ensure that those who need direction and guidance can find us easily and have the on-going support and encouragement to make Block Therapy a lifestyle.

It has always been my dream to see people living life to their fullest — healthy, content and thriving. Each individual that finds that peace inside affects those around them. My promise to you is that I will continue to create, share and be available to ensure the message is clear. This is a new era, and I believe with every cell in my being that life will only continue to get better for us all.

Happy New Year!

Breathe & Believe,
Deanna
