Longevity Conference and David Wolfe
I recently came home from David Wolfe's Longevity Conference in California. I have to say that my head is still spinning from all the fabulous information presented over 3 full days. The basis of the conference is nutrition and herbal tonics, teaching people how to rebuild their body in this very toxic environment we live in.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Lars Gustafsson - founder of the Body Mind Institute. They do David's on-line courses and I am thrilled to say that I am their newest faculty member. Before the New Year my 90 Day program will be online.
What excites me the most is the compliment that my work provides to David's and the brilliant speakers I was fortunate enough to meet.
Nutrition - what we put into our mouth, is the building block for what is processed to feed our body. Without the proper nutrients, the body becomes weak. However there is another piece of the puzzle many don't acknowledge. This is where Fluid Isometrics come into play.
Whatever age we are, we have that much time that gravity has affected our tissue. I think it is fair enough to say that for the majority of the population, as we age, we get shorter and wider. This is because gravity compresses our body, and depending on specific factors, such as right or left side dominance, injuries and surgeries, the environment we live in, the food we eat, our body ages uniquely. What is true for us all, however, is that the compressive force of gravity creates tissue to collapse in and on itself creating blocks in the body. Like a beaver damn, these blocks stop the flow of blood to cells. This means that no matter how great the food or medicines are that we put into our body, if it can't reach the cells then it can't do its job.
My 90 Day program teaches people how to remove the blocks! It also teaches people how to use your body the way nature intended.
I'll keep you posted, the program will be ready soon. In the meantime, get a rolling pin and lie over it for 5 minutes. From left to right place it directly under your belly button. Spend 5 minutes here inhaling into it. There will be some discomfort but afterwards you will feel lighter in the middle. If this is too intense, to begin with simply lie on your stomach and breathe into the floor. Done everyday for 3 - 5 minutes, this simple exercise will change the way you breathe to a more "diaphragmatic breath".
